Fidelity National Title Company Reports 5% Increase in Home Values for Big Bear Lake
As reported this week by the County Assessor of San Bernardino County, Big Bear lake home values have increased 5% since April 2008. The average price of a home in Big Bear Lake for April 2009 was $475,147. What is probably more interesting for investors is the number of actual sales has increased 41.7% . This only verifies my previous blogs that our market here in Big Bear is on the move.
Even Big Bear City figures show a 15.8% increase in the number of sales in comparison to April 2008. As for San Bernardino County the number of sales has also increased to 46.8%.
As all these figures show the Big Bear real estate trend is an upward trend showing the market has reached bottom and is on the rise. This realtor also notes that this is usually considered the slow time in Big Bear for real estate sales as our market historically doesn’t take off until mid May.
